I have a kind of garden on my patio. Lots of geraniums and a strawberry plant!

I didn't actually expect the strawberry seeds to sprout. Then suddenly there were three green leafy plants.

Ninja strawberries.

Ninja strawberries...oh the possibilities!

Luckily I inherited a green thumb from my grandmother. So far, I can make anything grow.

I just planted 3 grapefruit trees in my backyard along with a couple red oaks.

Have fun!

I have a black thumb. I'm guaranteed to kill even the hardiest plant quickly. And not from simple neglect or overwatering either. *sigh*

Sometimes I just can't decide where to plant what I've bought. The other day, I purchased an American Beauty Berry and a Butterfly Weed. They are good fall color plants and the birds eat the berries. Originally, I thought I would plant them in the front yard, but now I have completely changed my mind about where I want to plant them.

There's lots of "butterfly weed" photos over at Flickr. I bet there's room for more...
